During Midnight Madness festivities at Wagner College, junior forward Josh Thompson won the 2011 "Madness Before Midnight" Slam Dunk contest. For the winning dunk, Thompson had his mom stand under the basket and leaped over her for the slam.
Former NBA player Darryl "Chocolate Thunder" Dawkins was one of the judges of the contest, and obviously liked the dunk.
