Los Angeles Clippers forward Reggie Evans made the flop of the year in the NBA during Sunday night's game against the New Orleans Hornets, drawing a personal foul and nearly a flagrant foul on Hornets guard Greivis Vasquez.
It happened in the fourth quarter with under two minutes left in the game. Evans set a pick at halfcourt for Vasquez as he was running backwards on defense. Vasquez did not appreciate the hard foul and elbowed Evans in the chest. To make sure he got the foul call, Evans threw his hands up in the air and fell down on the court as if he had been shot.
The referee blew the whistle and called a flagrant foul on Vasquez. However, after reviewing a replay of Evans' flop, the call was reduced to a personal foul.
