On Tuesday night, Washington Nationals rookie outfielder Bryce Harper went 3-for-4 with a monster home run to help lead the team to a 4-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.
Harper was answering questions after the game when one reporter asked him which beer he might be interested in drinking to celebrate his home run, pointing out that the drinking age is only 18 in Canada, as opposed to 21 in the U.S. Harper is 19.
Harper's response: "I'm not answering that. That's a clown question, bro."
Harper also happens to be a Mormon, a religion that prohibits drinking alcohol, so that question seems even sillier under that context. The reporter in question needs to do a little more homework next time if he wants to be taken seriously.
Harper's response has gone viral, with a new hashtag being created on Twitter (#thatsaclownquestionbro) and all kinds of hilarious responses.
