Washington Nationals rookie outfielder Bryce Harper broke his bat in half by smashing it on home plate after striking out in the fourth inning of Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins.
It happened in the fourth inning as Harper swung and missed at a 2-2 curveball from Marlins pitcher Ricky Nolasco. It was Harper's second strikeout of the game, but Harper also singled twice and walked once in the Nationals' 4-1 victory.
