Seattle Mariners DH Kendrys Morales had an embarrassing moment during Saturday's game at Safeco Field as he was caught losing track of the count during his seventh inning at-bat. Morales took a 3-2 pitch low for ball four, but continued to stand in the batter's box preparing for the next pitch.
Eventually Morales made it to first after being alerted by the home plate umpire or someone from the Mariners dugout that he had actually walked. Although it had no impact on the game, you would think that these major leaguers get paid enough money that the least they could do is pay attention during the game.
