Oakland A's third baseman Josh Donaldson made a fantastic catch of a foul ball as he dove over the tarp in front of the third base stands to make the catch during Tuesday night's game at the O.co Coliseum.
It happened in the top of the sixth inning as Texas Rangers batter David Murphy hit a high popup foul that drifted to the edge of the third base stands. Donaldson jumped over the tarp to make the catch, then held on to it as he fell between the tarp and the padded wall in front of the stands. Donaldson was able to keep the glove up the entire time to make sure everyone knew he caught it. Great play.
