On Saturday, the 2014 Sochi Olympic torch was taken for its first ever spacewalk at the International Space Station as part of the torch relay heading into the Winter Games in February.
Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kotov and Sergei Ryazansky were given the privilege of taking the unlit Olympic torch out for the walk as part of their mission.
