Bartolo Colon loses helmet, carries bat to first (Video)

New York Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon nearly lost his helmet twice after taking two big swings during his seventh inning at-bat in Wednesday's game against Pittsburgh. Then, after finally making contact on a grounder to the pitcher, Colon carried his bat with him to first base before heading to the dugout.

Watching Colon attempting to hit is worth a few laughs, but his pitching is no joke. Colon pitched 7+ shutout innings and earned the victory in the 5-0 Mets win over the Pirates.  Good thing he gets paid to pitch and not to hit.
