Winnipeg Jets forward Dustin Byfuglien flattened Colorado Avalanche defenseman Tyson Barrie with a monster check into the corner boards during Sunday night's game at the MTS Centre.
Byfuglien then immediately followed it up with a takedown of Avalanche center John Mitchell when he tried to stick up for his teammate.
Byfuglien was credited with eight hits in the game, more than anyone else on either team by far. To top things off, Byfuglien got an assist on the game-winning overtime goal to give the Jets a 2-1 victory over the Avs.
