James Harden is not exactly known for his defense, but sometimes he doesn't even try to pretend to make an effort to stop somebody.
Case in point: Tuesday night's game against Oklahoma City, where Harden is the only Houston Rockets defender against a 4-on-1 Thunder fast break led by Russell Westbrook. Granted that the odds were in favor of the Thunder scoring the basket no matter what Harden did, but he could have at least forced Westbrook to dish to one of his teammates.
Instead, he just watched Westbrook blow by him and throw down a slam dunk.
Harden made up for it on the offensive end with 24 points and 16 assists, but it wasn't enough as the Thunder beat the Rockets 111-107.
