An embarrassed Hunt sent out an apologetic Tweet later:
"Great TV pics of golf clubs in N Ireland up all night celebrating Rory McIlroy's amazing win, youngest 2 win US Masters since 1923"What's wrong with this picture? As everyone else knows, Rory McIlroy won the US Open, not the Masters. Oops. Ironically, Hunt is the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport.
