Video: Ejected Minor League Manager Autographs, Gives Away First Base To Fan

Watching baseball managers get ejected from games can sometimes be entertaining.  Last Sunday, however, one lucky fan was able to take home a piece of memorabilia to remember the occasion.

In the second game of a minor league doubleheader between the Atlantic League's Lancaster Barnstormers and the Somerset Patriots, Lancaster manager (and former Boston Red Sox player and manager) Butch Hobson was tossed in the top of the fourth inning after arguing a close play at first base.

Looking at the replay, the umpire definitely blew the call as the runner beat the throw to first.  However, Hobson calmly expressed his frustration by removing first base from the field, signing it, and giving it to a female fan in the front row.
