In the bottom of the sixth inning at AT&T Park in San Francisco last night, Giants outfielder Aaron Rowand hit a pinch-hit home run that hit a railing behind the outfield wall and bounced back onto the field. A Giants fan was walking down a nearby aisle towards the front row with a full tray of food. He nonchalantly put a hand up in the hope that someone would toss him the home run ball, but he was obviously more concerned with getting to his seat without losing the food.
Unfortunately, there was another Giants fan in the walkway who was more intent on getting that home run ball. He put his hands up and began moving towards his right while keeping his eyes on the field...and not watching where he was going. Naturally, this fan was headed on a collision course with the other fan, who had no idea that the full tray of food, that he likely just paid for, was about to end up all over the ground.
Not sure if the fan paid the other for the spilled food, but we're pretty sure neither one of these fans got the home run ball. Next time, watch where you're going, buddy.
