It might be tough to find referees for Argentina football matches after they see this video. A referee in the fifth division gets caught up in a fight with a player but soon has to run away and hop a fence to get away when the entire team, plus some coaches and fans, come after him.
It happened in a match between Union San Guillermo and Atletico Tostado recently. After one player chest bumps the referee and he swings back, the entire team goes after the ref from all directions. After being bounced around and realizing he was clearly outnumbered and no one was coming to help him (except one of the other referees), the ref ran off the field as fast as he could.
The player who started the fight gave chase, followed by a few coaches and spectators. The ref was able to hop the fence before being hit by a stick.
