The Huntington Beach, California Little League All-Stars who made it to the U.S Championship at this year's Little League World Series tournament seem to be channeling a little bit of Michael Jackson through their pre-game ritual of grabbing themselves in the groin.
It's bad enough that this crotch-grabbing behavior is completely inappropriate and should be discouraged by their parents and coaches, but it's even worse now that ESPN seemed to have no problem showing footage of this behavior to a national audience.
ESPN is owned by Disney, which prizes itself on being a family-friendly enterprise, so it's a little disappointing that higher moral standards are not being applied here.
UPDATE: California has advanced to the Little League World Series final against Japan. Does this mean we can be expecting more crotch-grab shots tomorrow?
