This has to rank up there with the best play of the year by a baseball fan: a Chicago Cubs fan at Wrigley Field catches a foul ball...with one hand...while holding a baby with the other hand.
This has to be seen to be believed, but very impressive. It happened in the top of the fourth at Wrigley Field in Chicago last night with the Washington Nationals visiting the hometown Cubs. Nationals infielder Michael Morse hit a foul ball into the upper deck on the first base side. Making the foul ball catch with his bare hand is impressive enough, but with a baby in the other hand? It makes it one of the best catches of the year - on or off the field.
Of course, the most important thing here is that the man held onto the baby. This makes that failed attempt by the Dodger fan in LA who dropped his daughter to try to catch the foul ball look even that much worse.
