Video: Padres Fan Snatches Foul Ball From Diamondbacks' Justin Upton, Taunts Him Afterwards

In Arizona last night, a visiting San Diego Padres fan interfered with Diamondbacks right fielder Justin Upton by using his own glove to snatch a foul ball away from Upton.  Afterwards, the Padres fan took the next step by taunting Upton and pointing to his baseball cap.

It happened in the top of the ninth inning at Chase Field in Arizona last night, with Arizona trying to close out the game with a 3-1 lead.  Padres outfielder Aaron Cunningham hit a foul ball to right field, and Diamondbacks right fielder Justin Upton seemed to have a bead on it.  He was about to catch it before the ball reached the right field stands when the Padres fan reached over with his glove and grabbed it away.  Afterwards, the Padres fan had the nerve to taunt Upton by pointing to the "SD" on his baseball cap.  He must have forgot that the Padres are the last place team in the NL West division.

It looks like a clear case of fan interference based on the video, as the Padres fan reached over the railing to get the ball.  No word as to whether the fan was ejected from the stadium, as is standard procedure in cases like these, although there were only two outs left in the game.
