In a soccer game in Uruguay, a player lost his temper and made a bad situation worse by slapping a linesman after being given a red card.
It happened in the Uruguayan Premier Division, with Danubio playing conservatively while running out the clock against Montevideo with a 1-0 lead. Dirty Tackle provides the commentary:
Clearly this behavior is not appropriate, and Diogo is likely to receive some type of suspension for his actions.

Getting frustrated with an opponent's time-wasting tactics in the corner, Diogo kicked out at him right in front of the linesman, who alerted the ref and got Diogo sent off. Diogo did not appreciate this, so he went over to that linesman and gave him a stiff slap to the side of the head...the linesman reacted calmly and Diogo trudged off. The ref then blew the whistle for full time..
Clearly this behavior is not appropriate, and Diogo is likely to receive some type of suspension for his actions.
