San Francisco Giants reliever Guillermo Mota may have suffered an injury yesterday, and he didn't even play in last night's game. As Mota was coming out to of the dugout for his bullpen warmups in the top of the ninth inning, he tripped on the dugout steps.
Once Mota recovered himself, he seemed to be hobbling a little bit on his way out to the bullpen mound. Mota wasn't needed in the game, but as he returned to the dugout, he seemed to be holding his left hip.
We'll wait and see whether this Mota finds himself on the disabled list.
