On Wednesday night, young Arizona Diamondbacks fans Ian McMillan and Nicholas Goodfellow were guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live. McMillan was the boy in the stands at Arizona who selflessly gave up the baseball that was intended for Goodfellow but was given to McMillan in a mixup. This was the latest stop in their media rounds to tell their story.
As Jimmy Kimmel says, "If you're going to do something nice, try to do it on TV."
Conversely, the opposite also holds: If you're going to do something that's not nice, don't get caught doing it on TV. Don't be like that other Diamondbacks fan that wrestled the ball from the woman, or that Dodger fan who dropped his daughter when trying to catch the foul ball. Otherwise, you will pay the price.
