Some random musings from around the world of sports:
- The Detroit Tigers lost yesterday. Hopefully that means hitting coach Lloyd McClendon will change his underwear, which he refused to do during the Tigers' 12-game winning streak.
- The inappropriately designed Amarillo Sox mascot costume, which was used once and will never be used again, is now up for auction on EBay by the minor league team, with proceeds going to various charities.
- The latest fad for the kids: official NFL Team Pillow Pets!
