A Texas Rangers fan in the stands made a nice catch of a foul ball with his glove...and continuing a cell phone conversation at the same time.
It happened in the bottom of the first inning last night in Arlington. Rangers leadoff batter Ian Kinsler hit a foul ball into the stands on the first base side. A Rangers fan with a glove on his left hand was in the middle of a cell phone conversation as he held the phone to his ear with his right hand.
The Rangers merely paused for a minute to lift himself out of his seat a few inches and made a nice snatch of the ball with his glove, while keeping the cell phone near his ear. As he sat down, he continued his cell phone conversation by happening to mention to the person on the other end that he "just caught the ball".
So who says cell phones are a distraction?
