In the top of the third inning in last night's Game 6 of the World Series, St. Louis Cardinals third baseman David Freese ran into foul territory to try to catch a foul ball hit by Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton. Freese didn't catch the ball, but fell over the railing in front of the camera pit. Freese would have fallen head-first into the camera pit if he wasn't caught by one of the photographers.
It's fortunate that Freese wasn't hurt and stayed in the game, as he hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game and keep the St. Louis Cardinals alive.
