During last night's Game 1 of the 2011 World Series between the Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals, FOX baseball analyst Tim McCarver proved he can't count by failing in his attempt to count the number of letters in the word "strike".
It happened after Cardinals pitcher Mark Rzepczynski struck out Rangers pinch hitter Esteban German to end the bottom of the seventh inning. After Joe Buck gave his recap of the strikeout, McCarver said "It's a five-letter word: S-T-R-I-K-E".
It could have been worse...at least McCarver spelled the word correctly.
