As Texas Rangers starting pitcher Derek Holland was preparing to throw the first pitch of ALCS Game 2, the home plate umpire suddenly called time. The ump pointed to the outfield as he noticed that the Detroit Tigers bullpen door was open and was protruding into the field of play.
Fortunately the message was quickly sent down to the Tigers bullpen, and one of the Tigers pitchers was able to shut the door before anything bad happened.
