At Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City yesterday, the Iowa athletic department had a card stunt planned for the pre-game festivities before Iowa's game against Northwestern yesterday. A red, white and blue patriotic pattern would be displayed during the National Anthem, and then a black and gold pattern with the words "Go Hawks!" would be displayed immediately following the anthem. To pull this off, the 70,000-plus fans in the stadium would have to be on board.
How did it go?
Overall, it looks like it went pretty well. Well done, Hawkeye fans.
