In Milwaukee yesterday, Detroit Tigers outfielder Ryan Rayburn avoided a near disaster before the top of the sixth inning yesterday as he walked out of the dugout...right in front of the Milwaukee mascot race.
Rayburn was coming out to the field for the sixth inning and didn't see the mascots coming until he had already crossed the race path. Fortunately Rayburn had enough room to make it all the way across. Otherwise, he could have suffered some minor injuries...and major embarrassment.
