If you're a hockey player and you want to celebrate with someone after your team scores a goal, here's a tip: make sure you celebrate with a teammate and not someone from the opposing team. Otherwise something bad could happen to you, like getting punched in the face.
For most people, this would seem to be common sense. Unfortunately, a Swedish hockey player had to learn this the hard way.
When Mora IK scored a second period goal Monday night, Henrik Eriksson felt like celebrating, so he gave Leksand's Alen Bibic a big hug in front of the goal. Bibic responded about as well as you would expect an opponent to react when getting hugged by the other team after they just scored against him.
Fortunately, the situation did not escalate after Eriksson took the shot to the face, as he skated away to celebrate with his teammates...which is what he should have been doing in the first place.
