As part of the $35+ million of renovations taking place in the Tampa Bay Lightning's home arena, the St. Petersburg Times Forum, two Tesla coils will be hanging from the ceiling. These coils will shoot lightning bolts up to 20 feet in length each time the team scores.

Unfortunately, these coils may not be ready for use in the Lightning's home opener on Monday night, but they should be ready soon. This looks to be pretty impressive.
