What started out as a regular fight during a hockey game in the Ice Hockey Federation Men's Premier League in Turkey turned into an ugly all-out brawl between the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club and the Ezurum Youth Sports Club.
Things were so bad that riot police were called in to break things up. One player had to be carried off the ice on a stretcher, while another player was dragged off the ice by a teammate.
Ezerum, who had a 4-1 lead at the time of the incident, were declared winners by forfeit, as the rest of the game was called off.
