Friday's Insight Bowl between Oklahoma and Iowa was delayed with 2:22 remaining in the fourth quarter for an unusual reason: an ESPN skycam fell and crashed onto the field.
Fortunately no one was hurt, but the skycam did come dangerously close to Iowa receiver Marvin McNutt as it fell.
After the skycam crashed on the field, McNutt got a bit tangled up in some of the wiring that was supposed to be holding the skycam up in the air. The delay lasted a few minutes as technical crews assessed the damaged camera and used the wiring to drag the camera off the field.
