During the first quarter of last night's NBA preseason game in Orlando, Miami Heat star LeBron James missed two consecutive free throws after being fouled by Magic guard Jameer Nelson.
To make matters worse, LeBron's second free throw was an air ball that fell short of the rim.
Granted that this was the first quarter of a preseason game, and knowing this, LeBron may have been experimenting with his free throw shooting technique. However, given the shortened NBA preseason, could LeBron be shooting air balls from the free throw line in games that count? We shall see.
