In Friday night's LA Clippers home game against the Chicago Bulls, Clippers point guard Mo Williams got the start in place of Chauncey Billups, who sat out the game with a sore right groin. Unfortunately, Staples Center PA announcer David Courtney introduced Williams to the crowd as "Chauncey Billups".
Interestingly enough, Courtney did get announce Williams' height (6 foot 1) and alma mater (Alabama) correctly, so he only messed up the name. Whoops.
Courtney immediately corrected himself by announcing "Mo Williams", but it was certainly a little awkward for the fans, although based on the video, Williams didn't seem to notice.
