At the end of the first half of the Capital One Bowl, South Carolina wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey leaped over the Nebraska secondary to catch a Hail Mary pass from quarterback Connor Shaw at the 4-yard line, then managed to turn around and find his way into the end zone for a 51-yard touchdown.
Jeffery had 4 catches for 148 yards and the one touchdown in the game and was named MVP despite being tossed from the game in the third quarter. South Carolina won the game 30-13.
