During an Australian soccer match, a defender took out his own goalie who was coming out to play the ball, leaving Tolgay Ozbey with an empty net. However, instead of just kicking the ball into the net, Ozbey decided to showboat a little bit by stopping the ball on the goal line, getting down on all fours and knocking the ball into the net with his head.
Not sure what part of showing off involves acting like a dog, but other players have done worse.
