Fans of LSU could not have been happy Monday night. On top of watching their team losing the national championship game to Alabama 21-0, they had to watch their quarterback Jordan Jefferson spit in a towel, then immediately wipe his face with it.
That's right. In the fourth quarter of the national championship game, with a worldwide television audience, Jordan Jefferson spit in a towel, then wiped his face with that towel.
Did they run out of water in the coolers on the LSU sideline, or was Jefferson just too lazy to get up off the bench?
