On New Year's Eve, a fight broke out in an AHL hockey game between the Binghamton Senators and the Syracuse Crunch. Binghamton goalie Robin Lehner watched the brawl from the other side of the ice, and eventually decided he wanted to join in. Unfortunately, the only fighting that Lehner got into was with the officials.
Lehner began wrestling with a referee and took off his own jersey to try to slip out of the referee's grasp. A linesman came over to help the referee restrain Lehner, who was given a game misconduct and could be looking at a multiple-game suspension from the AHL.
