Sacramento Kings forward Donte Green provided an assist off the court...to a fan who was planning to propose marriage to his girlfriend at a party on New Year's Eve.
Green recorded a video message where he sent out best wishes to everyone attending the "10th Annual Turducken Day Party" (whatever that means). Green told everyone to have fun, and at the end of the message, he gave a special shoutout to a girl named Lydia, and said that he thought her boyfriend might have a question to ask.
At that point, Lydia's boyfriend, Kevin, got down on one knee with the ring in his hand and asked her to marry him. She happily said yes, and this story had a happy ending.
