On Tuesday night in Tampa, a few Boston Bruins came out to watch their team face the hometown Tampa Bay Lightning. The Lightning mascot, Thunderbug, found a fan wearing a Bruins Stanley Cup T-shirt and playfully sprayed him with silly string. Pretty harmless stuff.
Unfortunately, this particular Bruins fan took exception to it and pushed Thunderbug down from behind.
Needless to say, pushing a mascot (or any other fan, for that manner) is not appropriate behavior, even if Thunderbug did spray him with the silly string. A security guard immediately came over to eject the Bruins fan while Thunderbug taunted him on the way out.
