Continuing with the Jeremy Lin "Linsanity" bandwagon, and also touching upon the "ask a famous celebrity for a date" trend, a Florida State Kappa Delta sorority girl named Angie wanted to ask him to be her date for her upcoming formal.
She recorded her proposal and posted it on Youtube recently, but it becomes clear that she has no idea who Jeremy Lin was (she calls him "Jerry"), or what sport he plays (she congratulates the New York Giants on their Super Bowl win), or what his racial background is.
But, hey, it's the thought that counts, right?
