In Wednesday's edition of the New York Daily News, the New York Jets took out a full page ad to congratulate the New York Giants on winning the Super Bowl.
The worst nightmare scenario played out for the New York Jets this season. After a third straight year of head coach Rex Ryan guaranteeing a Super Bowl parade, the Jets collapsed down the stretch in disastrous fashion and did not even make the playoffs. To top it all off, they had to sit at home and watch their division rivals, the New England Patriots, and their cross town rivals, the New York Giants, play each other in the Super Bowl.
Maybe after watching the Giants win the Super Bowl by doing things the right way, Rex Ryan will stop with the empty promises and try to be a bit more humble going forward.
