Olympic swimmer Matt Grevers won the gold medal in the 100-meter backstroke at the Missouri Grand Prix event on Saturday night. While on the medal stand, Grevers invited his girlfriend and fellow US national swim team member Annie Chandler on the stand with him and made a surprise marriage proposal.
Chandler said yes. Good thing Grevers won a medal, or he would have had to come up with another proposal plan.
