Pittsburgh Pirates left fielder Alex Presley was chasing a fly ball during a spring training game against the Minnesota Twins on Saturday when he tripped and did a face plant in the outfield.
It happened in the top of the sixth inning when Twins infielder Danny Valencia hit a deep fly ball which ended up being a 3-run home run. Presley started to chase the ball when he lost his footing and landed flat on his face.
Granted this is only spring training, but Presley needs a little work on his fielding. Last September, a fly ball popped out of the heel of Presley's glove and over the outfield wall for a home run, so Presley needs to step it up a bit.
