Before Sunday's NASCAR race in Phoenix, singer Brian McKnight sang the National Anthem with his sons BJ and Niko. An awkward moment occured after they were introduced by the PA announcer as Niko still had his hat on as they were being introduced. Fortunately, a NASCAR fan was more than willing to remind Niko to take his hat off before singing the National Anthem, although it was more of a not-so-gentle reminder to "Get that sh** off your head".
(Warning: NSFW language for the kids).
Niko obliged by taking his hat off, acknowledged the fan with an awkward laugh, and then began singing.
FYI, Brian McKnight did not name one of his sons Broken Robot BJ. McKnight's sons BJ and Niko are part of the band BRKN RBTZ (pronounced "Broken Robots"), which explains the introduction.
