In Saturday night NBA action, the New Jersey Nets pulled off a rarely-seen double alley-oop in the third quarter against the New Orleans Hornets. Deron Williams made a half court alley-oop pass to Gerald Green, who threw another alley-oop pass off the backboard to Kris Humprhies for the finishing slam dunk.
The Nets followed up the play with a three-pointer to close the third quarter with an 82-70 lead. However, the Nets absolutely laid an egg in the fourth quarter by being outscored 32-12 to end up losing to the Hornets 102-94.
