Washington Wizards guard Nick Young had an embarrassing moment in the second quarter of Wednesday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers when he managed to shoot a breakaway layup over the backboard.
Wizards guard Sheldon Mack stole the ball and Nick Young immediately headed to the other basket. Mack passed the ball to Young for the wide open layup, but as Young went up, he inexplicably lost control of the ball, which flew out of his hand and over the backboard.
Despite the missed layup, Young came through to lead the Wizards in scoring for the game with 19 points and helped the Wizards beat the Lakers 106-101.
