Houston Rockets forward Luis Scola recently tried to do something that he had not done all season: he attempted a dunk.
During Sunday night's game against the Sacramento Kings, the Rockets found themselves on a 4-on-1 fast break near the end of the first half. Rockets guard Courtney Lee passed it to Scola, who decided to attempt a one-handed dunk over Kings center DeMarcus Cousins.
Unfortunately for Scola, things did not end well.
Scola was too far from the rim, and Cousins committed a light foul to keep Scola away from the basket. The ball bounced off the rim and Scola fell to the floor, but got up with a big smile on his face and had the Rockets bench players laughing. Good thing Scola didn't hurt himself. Something tells me Scola won't be attempting another dunk for a while.
The Rockets were all smiles Sunday night as they won the game comfortably by a 104-87 margin.
