On Thursday, the Texas Rangers hosted Wildlife Education Day in conjunction with the Dallas Zoo, which brought some animals to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
Fans attending the Rangers game were able to show up a few hours early and meet a variety of zoo animals, including snakes, alligators, porcupines, and penguins. Yes, penguins. It's not every day you see a couple of penguins strolling around on a baseball field.
After meeting the animals, the fans got to watch the Rangers beat the Seattle Mariners 5-3, so everyone went home happy.
