Peter Bourjos hits inside-the-park home run (Video)

Los Angeles Angels center fielder Peter Bourjos hit an inside-the-park home run in Wednesday night's game at Target Field against the Minnesota Twins.

It happened in the top of the fifth inning with two men on base. Bourjos hit a deep fly ball to left field. Twins left fielder Josh Willingham looked to be in position to make the catch, but the ball was just over the outstretched glove of Willingham as he reached the wall. Willingham crashed into the wall as the ball bounced off the wall and back onto the grass.

That was all that Bourjos needed, because by the time that center fielder Denard Span came over to help and threw the ball to the cutoff man, Bourjos had already rounded third and was on his way home.

The home run gave the Angels a 4-3 lead. Unfortunately, the Angels were not able to hold the lead as the Twins were able to rally to win the game 6-5, their first win of the season.
