In Monday night MLB action, Texas Rangers starting pitcher Yu Darvish got credit for the 11-5 win over the Seattle Mariners in his American debut, and one of his fans was awarded "Fan of the Game" by the local broadcast team.
The fan brought family and friends in from Japan to watch Darvish pitch and was given a bag and a hat as part of his "Fan of the Game" award. However, the Yu Darvish fan appeared to be completely oblivious to his surroundings, as he seemed content to shout at the top of his lungs "I LOVE YU!". Good thing for this fan's sake that Darvish got the win.
